1. Copy and paste the questions from this handout to the bottom of your first draft document.
2. Stay in your peer review groups.
3. Open your first draft in Google Docs.
4. Share that document with the members of your group.

Do the following for each group member’s draft:

1. Read through the essay, making comments. Make sure that you are using “suggesting mode” in Google Docs.
2. Leave a summative paragraph at the end.
3. Respond to the questions posted at the end of the document about that author’s essay.

When everyone in your group has finished these steps for all papers in your group, discuss these two questions about your peer review experience:

1. What similarities did you notice among the drafts? (This could be similarities of approach or focus, style or voice, references made to aspects of culture/society, etc.)
2. What is the most common challenge you all faced while working on this draft? (Remember to be specific to this draft.)
